From day 1 the season was always going to be difficult.
The City game reminded me of the Hagler v Leonard fight.
We had the fight but got outboxed.
Carbon copy of the 1-0 Arsenal game but Slot's terrible game management cost us once again late on. We invited them on.
Unfortunately, tiredness at the front led to us dropping off.
Not using 3 sub windows in the last 5 minutes to break up play was baffling. Most Elite teams would've had a few players go down injured and eaten the clock with the sub windows. It's called 'shithousery' and it wins a lot of trophies. ALL of top 10 European sides would have used that popular tactic and gotten the win. It's not even 1st degree shithousery like technical fouls to stop breakaways or eating 5 minutes with ball-drying and long throwins & corner routines. It's VERY basic stuff we see week in week out in the Premier League. Winners use it openly. We haven't really had to until the -30 effect caught up with us. We're having the season we expected last year and like hangovers post 50, they're painful and tend to stick around for a while.
