I've been wondering this as well with pre season. We still have games every 4 days or whatever ( which is certainly less than the schedule at times last year), plus all the travel so the     See More won't be too different and if anything more difficult at times with flying to different time zones and all the media responsibilities (we saw Cunha left out with fatigue for example), so, other then a little bit here and there perhaps, how do they end up getting more time than they did normally? Clearly, something has worked as part of preseason as they have improved, but it made me think about what the difference is between the normal schedule and what they are doing now. Or do they not prepare for the other team so much as they would do in the league etc. and just say this is how we will play, so the focus is purely on United doing their thing, and that gives them more learning time?    See Less

I think it does look better, but considering how bad we actually were before, it shouldn't be a surprise to see at least some improvements. I just think context is needed when we talk ab     See More d in this instance the context is that it could almost only go up from where we were last season. To me it seems like the system works better, the players are adapting and it seems more natural which is a huge plus. But I still think there is a bid of lag in quality, in some aspects of our game. Sometimes we're still a bid too slow on the ball, and also sloppy passes is too frequent I feel like. Maybe I'm too harsh? Idk. But there's been more positives than negatives. Dorgu seems to me, to have improved A LOT. Both technically, but he also seems way more confident than last season. His first thought is going forward instead of the simply backwards pass, and it's great to watch. Mainoo is just pure quality, Yoro keeps impressing, De Ligt is also great and the list does go on.    See Less

Kudos to Oumar Berrada and Jason Wilcox for bringing in RA during mid season. RA inherited a broken and dysfunctional United. That progress we see now is the result of the information of tha     See More hs he’s been to United. This was a valuable time for RA, he gained knowledge about players, first hand. Had he came in now, some players might have gotten away with murder. The likes of Rashford, Garnacho, Sancho would be saying new manager new start. We’ve fallen victim of this countless times before.
